Central Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico... * Until 415 PM MDT. * At 118 PM MDT, an area of blowing dust was located across U.S.285 and NM 2 south of Roswell to the Chaves and Eddy County line. HAZARD...Near zero visibility with strong winds in excess of 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel. * Locations impacted include... South Roswell, Dexter, Hagerman, Bottomless Lakes State Park, Lake Arthur, Roswell Correctional Facility, Greenfield and Midway. This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 79 and 104 and State Route 2 between Mile Markers 17 to 21. Near zero visibility is possible along the Roswell Relief route between Sunset and Brasher.
