West Central Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...
* Until 545 PM MDT.
* At 349 PM MDT, an area of blowing dust was located near La Bajada,
or 19 miles southwest of Santa Fe, and was stationary.
HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility to brownout
conditions from damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.

Santo Domingo Pueblo, Kewa Pueblo, La Bajada, Madrid, San Felipe

The dust storm which prompted the warning has weakened with
visibility improving. Therefore, the Dust Storm Warning will be
allowed to expire. However, areas of blowing dust with low
visibility will continue at times for the rest of the evening
commute.
