The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a

* Dust Advisory for...
  Northeastern Lea County in southeastern New Mexico...
  Northwestern Andrews County in western Texas...
  Gaines County in western Texas...

* Until 445 PM CDT/345 PM MDT/.

* At 404 PM CDT/304 PM MDT/, a wall of dust was along a line
  extending from near McDonald to near Hobbs to 10 miles southeast of
  Eunice, moving northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Less than one mile visibility with strong wind in excess 
           of 50 mph.

  SOURCE...Surface observations.

  IMPACT...Hazardous travel.

Locations impacted include...
Loop, Seagraves Airport, Florey, Humble City, Hobbs, Seagraves,
McKenzie Lake, Gladiola, Tatum Airport, McDonald, Nadine, Tatum,
Gaines County Airport, Knowles, Frankel City, Industrial Airpark,
Seminole, Paynes Corner, Higginbotham, and Gaines County Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving
conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in
dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep
your foot off the brake.

Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. PULL ASIDE
STAY ALIVE!
