The National Weather Service in El Paso has issued a

* Dust Advisory for...
  West central Hidalgo County in southwestern New Mexico...

* Until 845 PM MDT.

* At 645 PM MDT, outflow winds from the northwest were kicking up 
  dust across I-10 around Lordsburg Playa. Weakening showers and 
  thunderstorms to the west and south may result in more wind shifts 
  and worsening blowing dust through the early evening hours.

  HAZARD...Less than one mile visibility with strong winds up to 45 
           mph.

  SOURCE...Detected by National Weather Service meteorologists.

  IMPACT...Hazardous travel.

Locations impacted include...
Interstate 10 between Lordsburg and the Arizona state line, Steins, 
and Road Forks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. PULL ASIDE
STAY ALIVE!
