The National Weather Service in El Paso has issued a

* Dust Advisory for...
  West central Hidalgo County in southwestern New Mexico...

* Until 945 PM MDT.

* At 840 PM MDT, highway web cams showed additional dust plumes 
  being kicked up on Interstate 10 through Lordsburg Playa, 
  especially near and to the west of mile marker 11.

  HAZARD...Less than one mile visibility with strong winds up to 40 
           mph.

  SOURCE...Detected by National Weather Service meteorologists.

  IMPACT...Hazardous travel.

Locations impacted include...
Interstate 10 west of Lordsburg to the Arizona State Line, Steins, 
and Road Forks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving
conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in
dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep
your foot off the brake.
