* Dust Advisory for...
Maricopa County in south central Arizona...
Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 145 AM MST.
* At 1247 AM MST, a wall of dust was along a line extending from 6
miles north of San Tan Valley to Queen Creek to near Sun Lakes to 7
miles south of Estrella Sailport, moving northwest at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Less than three miles visibility with strong wind in
excess of 30 mph.
SOURCE...Doppler radar.
IMPACT...Hazardous travel.
* This includes the following highways...
AZ Interstate 10 between mile markers 136 and 173.
AZ Interstate 17 between mile markers 195 and 203.
AZ Route 51 between mile markers 1 and 3.
Locations impacted include...
Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Avondale, Apache Junction,
Paradise Valley, Tolleson, Sun Lakes, Laveen, East Mesa, Cashion,
Queen Creek, and Tempe Marketplace.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving
conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in
dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep
your foot off the brake.

Mesa to near Superstition Springs Mall to Freestone Park to near
South Phoenix to 8 miles northwest of Estrella Sailport, moving
northwest at 35 mph.

of 30 mph.
