...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY
AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of coastal North Carolina, including the following
areas, Coastal Onslow, East Carteret, Hatteras Island, Inland
Onslow, Jones, Mainland Dare, Mainland Hyde, Northern Outer Banks,
Ocracoke Island, Pamlico, Southern Craven and West Carteret.
* WHEN...From Sunday night through Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Numerous to widespread heavy showers and thunderstorms are
expected along coastal North Carolina Sunday night through Monday
afternoon. Widespread 1 to 3 inches of rain is forecast in the
watch area, with locally higher values possible where slow moving
showers and thunderstorms linger.

following areas, Coastal Onslow, East Carteret, Hatteras Island,
Inland Onslow, Jones, Mainland Dare, Mainland Hyde, Northern Outer
Banks, Ocracoke Island, Pamlico, Southern Craven and West Carteret.
* WHEN...From 11 PM EDT this evening through Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
