...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Kansas, including the following
  counties, Jewell, Mitchell, Osborne, Phillips, Rooks and Smith and
  Nebraska, including the following counties, Adams, Buffalo, Clay,
  Dawson, Fillmore, Franklin, Furnas, Gosper, Greeley, Hall,
  Hamilton, Harlan, Howard, Kearney, Merrick, Nance, Nuckolls,
  Phelps, Polk, Sherman, Thayer, Valley, Webster and York.

* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Through roughly sunrise Sunday morning, the entire Watch area
    will be prone to seeing one or more rounds of thunderstorms
    producing heavy rain, primarily occurring Saturday evening into
    early Sunday morning. For the majority of the Watch area, 24-hour
    rainfall totals by sunrise Sunday will likely reach 1 to 3
    inches, but small portions of the area could end up with at least
    3 to 6 inches of total rainfall, including rain that already fell
    during the day Saturday. Due to the combination of upcoming and
    previously-fallen rain, various pockets of the Watch area could
    experience flooding or flash flooding issues into early Sunday
    morning.

Buffalo, Clay, Dawson, Fillmore, Franklin, Furnas, Gosper, Greeley,
Hall, Hamilton, Harlan, Howard, Kearney, Merrick, Nance, Nuckolls,
Phelps, Polk, Sherman, Thayer, Valley, Webster and York.
