MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Central, South Central, and Southeast Kansas, 
  including the following counties, in Central Kansas, Chase. In 
  South Central Kansas, Butler, Cowley and Sumner. In Southeast 
  Kansas, Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Labette, Montgomery, 
  Neosho, Wilson and Woodson.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Thunderstorms are likely through the day Tuesday, especially
    during the afternoon and evening. Storms may tend to move
    over the same areas across southern and southeast Kansas with
    rainfall rates exceeding 1 inch per hour, leading to an
    increased risk for flooding.
