...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH 
WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Much of eastern Nebraska and all of southwest Iowa.

* WHEN...From 6 PM CDT this evening through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Scattered slow moving thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are
    expected early Tuesday evening, with more widespread
    thunderstorms and heavy rainfall overnight. Rainfall rates of
    up to 2 inches per hour are likely in the heaviest storms.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action 
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

the following areas, Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Monona, Montgomery, 
Page, Pottawattamie and Shelby and Nebraska, including the following 
areas, Burt, Butler, Cass, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Douglas, 
Lancaster, Madison, Otoe, Platte, Sarpy, Saunders, Seward, Stanton, 
Thurston and Washington.

Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to 
heed remaining road closures.
