...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Missouri, 
  including the following counties, in south central Missouri, 
  Texas. In southwest Missouri, Webster and Wright.

* WHEN...Until 915 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 307 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - This includes the following low water crossings...
    Little Piney River at Union Road, Wolf Creek at Highway AB,
    West Fork Roubidoux Creek at Upton Road, Boone Creek at Boone
    Creek Road, Big Piney River at Cleveland Road, Whetstone
    Creek at Owens Road and Beaver Creek at Crewes Ford Road.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mountain Grove, Houston, Licking, Mansfield, Norwood,
    Hartville, Dawson, Huggins, Bendavis, Graff, Success,
    Bucyrus, Roby, Hazelton and Prescott.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 915 PM CDT this evening for 
portions of south central and southwest Missouri, including the 
following areas, in south central Missouri, Texas. In southwest 
Missouri, Webster and Wright.

Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no 
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining 
road closures.
