...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Florida, including the following 
  county, Brevard.

* WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 129 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Melbourne, Camp Holly Fish Camp, Merritt Island, West
    Melbourne, Melbourne Village, June Park, Eau Gallie and
    Melbourne Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

  Ponding of water is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 156 AM EDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain
    in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    already occurring. Between 2.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
