...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...For the following counties, in central Kansas, Dickinson. 
  In east central Kansas, Geary. In north central Kansas, Clay and 
  Ottawa. In northeast Kansas, Riley.

* WHEN...Until 200 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Rises in small streams. Ponding of water in urban or other areas 
  is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1043 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Wakefield, Riley, Bennington, Milford, Leonardville, Culver,
    Wells, Manchester, Longford, Oak Hill, Talmage and Niles.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

    in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    urban and small stream flooding. Up to 3 inches of rain have
    fallen in the city of Riley.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
