of up to 0.5 in per hour and will continue to do so as it slowly
moves eastward.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM PST THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Washington, including the
following counties, Lewis and Thurston.
* WHEN...Until 615 PM PST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 312 PM PST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.3 and 0.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Toledo, Napavine, Winlock, Vader and Onalaska.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flood Advisory is cancelled for a portion of west central
Washington, including the following areas, Lewis and Thurston.
The heavy rain has ended. Light showers will continue to persist
over the area through much of tonight, however, flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures and ponding of roads and drainages may continue.
