...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Fayette and
Madison. In southwest Ohio, Butler and Warren. In west central
Ohio, Clark, Greene, Montgomery and Preble.
* WHEN...Until 315 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1202 AM EDT, Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible.
- NWS employee reported minor flooding in the advisory area
with some water over the road near Sackett-Wright Park in
Bellbrook.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Dayton, Kettering, Middletown, Beavercreek, Huber Heights,
Fairborn, Xenia, Trotwood, Miamisburg, Springboro, Franklin,
Bellbrook, Moraine, Carlisle, Oakwood, Yellow Springs,
Wright-Patterson Afb, West Carrollton, Cedarville and Enon.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 315 AM EDT early this morning for
the following counties, in central Ohio, Fayette and Madison. In
southwest Ohio, Butler and Warren. In west central Ohio, Clark,
Greene, Montgomery and Preble.
The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
