...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Nebraska, including the following 
  county, Keith.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 648 PM MDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
    Downtown Ogallala due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor
    drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in Downtown
    Ogallala, with multiple streets flooded.
  - Downtown Ogallala is the most likely place to experience
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ogallala.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
