...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following 
  county, Miami-Dade.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other 
  areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 642 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    urban and small stream flooding. Between 3 and 4 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Kendall, The Redland, Country Walk, The Hammocks, Richmond
    West, The Crossings, West Kendall, Richmond Heights, Kendale
    Lakes, Three Lakes and Inlikita.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
