* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northwest North Dakota, including the
following counties, McKenzie and Williams.
* WHEN...Until 1030 PM CDT /930 PM MDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 725 PM CDT /625 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Williston, Fort Union Trading Post, Trenton and Fort Buford
State Historical Site.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
