Even though the heavy rain threat has ended, it may take some time 
for floodwaters to recede.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall has occurred.

* WHERE...Portions of central and southern New Hampshire, including 
  the following counties, in central New Hampshire, Merrimack. In 
  southern New Hampshire, Hillsborough.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 759 PM EDT, Local law enforcement reported road closures
    due to earlier heavy rain. Minor flooding is already
    occurring and it may take some time for floodwaters to
    recede. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Concord, Henniker, Hopkinton, New Boston, Antrim, Bradford,
    Francestown, Bennington, Weare and Deering.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where 
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become 
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or 
creeks.
