...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and southern New Hampshire, including
  the following counties, in central New Hampshire, Merrimack. In
  southern New Hampshire, Hillsborough.

* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 201 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
    flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
    advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
  - Very saturated soil and ongoing rain will contribute to
    ponding of water and runoff through the afternoon. Rainfall
    rates are expected to remain fairly steady, near two tenths
    of an inch per hour.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Concord, Henniker, Hopkinton, Antrim, Hancock, Bradford,
    Francestown, Bennington, Nelson and Deering.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
