...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northeastern Mountrail and northwestern Ward Counties.
* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 358 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Donnybrook and Coulee.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
The Flood Advisory will expire at 7 AM CDT this morning for
northeastern Mountrail and northwestern Ward Counties.
The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures and avoid
areas of high water.
A Flood Advisory remains in effect for central Ward County until 9
AM CDT.
