...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Montana, including 
  the following counties, in south central Montana, east central Big 
  Horn. In southeast Montana, southern Rosebud.

* WHEN...Until 1130 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Rises in small streams and normally dry drainages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 823 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Horse Creek, Black Canyon Creek, Lame Deer Creek, Pawnee
    Creek, Rosebud Creek, Muddy Creek, Middle Fork Bull Creek,
    South Fork Lame Deer Creek, Broken Jaw Creek, Black Eagle
    Fork, East Fork Muddy Creek, Stebbins Creek, Slocum Creek,
    Longroach Creek, Saint Johns Fork, Two Moon Creek, Logging
    Creek, South Fork Alderson Creek, Standing Elk Creek, Wild
    Hog Creek, Kelty Creek, Hardrobe Creek, Tie Creek, West Fork
    Muddy Creek, Paddy Creek, Spang Creek, Greenleaf Creek,
    Powell Creek, Cook Creek, Juddy Creek and Upper Spang Creek.
    Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

    Muddy Cluster and Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles. Do not drive on or attempt to cross 
flooded roads, find an alternate route. Roads and driveways may be 
damaged or washed out in places.

The Flood Advisory is cancelled for portions of south central and 
southeast Montana, including the following areas, in south central 
Montana, Big Horn. In southeast Montana, Rosebud.

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a 
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
