* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following
county, Sanilac.
* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 500 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sandusky, Croswell, Marlette, Lexington, Port Sanilac,
Carsonville, Applegate, Watertown, Elmer, Juhl, Snover and
Decker.

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

- At 542 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated from 1 to 3 inches of
heavy rain fell through central sections of Sanilac county.
Rain has ended but the advisory continues while runoff
progress early this evening.
- Additional showers and thunderstorms are possible from the
Tri Cities to Caro area later this evening.
- Some locations where flooding is expected include...
