...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northern California, including the following 
  counties, Glenn, Shasta and Tehama.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM PST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is 
  occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 235 PM PST, local law enforcement reported roadway
    flooding in the advisory area. Overflowing poor drainage
    areas have already caused minor flooding in the advisory
    area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding
    include...Redding, Red Bluff, Palo Cedro, Shasta Dam, Yolla
    Bolly District Rs, Shasta Lake, Anderson, Olinda,
    Centerville, Keswick, Central Valley, Central Valley Cdp,
    Igo, Mountain Gate, Millville, Whiskeytown, Ono, Obrien,
    Dairyville and Rosewood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

  - At 943 PM PST, local law enforcement continues to report
    roadway flooding in the advisory area. Overflowing poor
    drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in the
    advisory area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding
    include...Redding, Red Bluff, Palo Cedro, Shasta Dam, Yolla
    Bolly District Rs, Shasta Lake, Anderson, Olinda,
    Centerville, Keswick, Central Valley, Central Valley Cdp,

...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT NOON PST TODAY...

The Flood Advisory will expire at noon PST today for a portion of 
northern California, including the following areas, Glenn, Shasta 
and Tehama.

Heavy rainfall over Shasta County has ended. That said, more heavy 
rain is in the forecast through the week for Northern California. 
Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 400 PM PST Friday for a 
portion of northern California...
