...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of DownEast Maine, including the following 
  counties, far northeastern Hancock and Washington.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 413 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will
    cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches
    of rain have fallen on saturated ground from rain that fell
    yesterday.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Vanceboro, Princeton, Topsfield, Grand Lake Stream, Codyville
    Plantation, Fowler Township, Dyer Township, Baileyville,
    Alexander, Crawford, Waite, Beddington, Codyville, Big Lake,
    Brookton, Fowler, Dyer, Forest, Lambert Lake and Nicatous
    Lake.
  - For flood safety visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Campers and hikers should 
avoid streams or creeks.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
