...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM MDT /1115 PM PDT/ FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Idaho, including the following 
  county, Idaho.

Idaho State Highway 13 between Kooskia and Stites. 

* WHEN...Until 1215 AM MDT /1115 PM PDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 918 PM MDT /818 PM PDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
    rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.7
    and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Idaho State Highway 13 between Kooskia and Stites.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
