...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM EDT /2 AM CDT/ THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana, including the following 
  counties, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison and Perry and central 
  Kentucky, including the following counties, Breckinridge, Hancock 
  and Meade.

* WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT /200 AM CDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1202 AM EDT /1102 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
    rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch
    of rain has fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Tell City, Corydon, Hawesville, Mount Pleasant, Lewisport,
    Cannelton, Cloverport, Palmyra, Milltown and Lanesville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
