...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 AM CDT /415 AM MDT/ EARLY THIS
MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Much of Dunn County and a portion of eastern McKenzie
County in North Dakota.
* WHEN...Until 515 AM CDT /415 AM MDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1213 AM CDT /1113 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas
will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and
3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Killdeer, Dunn Center, Manning, Mandaree, Oakdale, Little
Missouri State Park, Johnsons Corner and Fort Berthold.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
