- At 616 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.

Wilmington, Leland, Oak Island, Carolina Beach, Wrightsville
Beach, Kure Beach, Surf City, Caswell Beach, Bald Head Island,
North Masonboro Island, South Masonboro Island, Johnny Mercer
Pier, Snows Cut, Figure Eight Island, Rich Inlet, Ocean Crest
Pier, Hampstead and Boiling Spring Lakes.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 815 AM EDT this morning for a
portion of southeast North Carolina, including the following areas,
Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender.
The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Minor ponding will remain on area roads in light rain through
about 930 AM. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
