...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following
counties, Oldham and Trimble.
* WHEN...Until 415 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 112 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Prospect, Bedford, Owen, Goshen, Bethlehem, River Bluff,
Oldham, Wises Landing, Russell Corner and Sligo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
