...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is 
  expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest Texas, including the following 
  counties, Floyd and Motley.

* WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 253 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
    1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Flomot.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

The Flood Advisory will expire at 4 PM CDT this afternoon for a 
portion of northwest Texas, including the following areas, Floyd and 
Motley.

The heavy rain has ended. Some residual flooding may continue for a 
short time, but impacts should be very localized.
