...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of western Nevada, including the following 
  counties, Storey and Washoe.

* WHEN...Until 1015 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 810 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center. Between 0.75 and
    1.25 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Interstate 80 between Patrick and Derby Dam, and the Tahoe-
    Reno Industrial Center are the most likely places to
    experience flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Derby Dam, Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center, and Patrick.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
