...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM EDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northern Indiana, including the following
counties, Allen IN, Huntington and Whitley.
* WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 444 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Wayne, New Haven, Aboite, Roanoke, Rolling Hills, Nine
Mile, Dunfee, Hessen Cassel, Raber, Laud, Peabody, Maples,
Washington Center, Goblesville, Tunker and Luther.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flood Advisory is cancelled for a portion of northern Indiana,
including the following areas, Allen IN, Huntington and Whitley.
Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Additional
scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible this
evening, but the additional rainfall amounts should be light.
