...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 AM EDT /530 AM CDT/ THIS 
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following 
  counties, Anderson, Boyle, Green, Larue, Marion, Mercer, Nelson, 
  Shelby, Spencer, Taylor and Washington.

* WHEN...Until 630 AM EDT /530 AM CDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 323 AM EDT /223 AM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
    rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and
    1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Bardstown, Lawrenceburg, Lebanon, Springfield, Ballard, New
    Haven, Bloomfield, Loretto, Willisburg and Mackville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

  counties, Anderson, Boyle, Green, Larue, Marion, Mercer, Nelson, 
  Shelby, Spencer, Taylor and Washington.

* WHEN...Until 830 AM EDT /730 AM CDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 608 AM EDT /508 AM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
    rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5
    and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Bardstown, Lawrenceburg, Lebanon, Springfield, Ballard, New
    Haven, Bloomfield, Loretto, Willisburg and Mackville.
