* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southwestern Greeley County in central Nebraska...
Western Howard County in central Nebraska...
Sherman County in central Nebraska...
Southern Valley County in central Nebraska...
Northeastern Buffalo County in south central Nebraska...
Northern Hall County in south central Nebraska...
* WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 707 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms, including both earlier on Saturday and more
recently/ongoing Saturday evening. For the last 12 hours, much of
the Advisory area has received at least 2 to 3 inches of rain,
with another 1 to 2 inches of rain possible later this evening
into early Sunday morning. As a result, mainly minor flooding is
likely ongoing or expected to begin shortly in at least portions
of the Advisory area.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Cottonwood Creek, Sherman Reservoir Area, Mud Creek, Cow Creek,
Flash Creek, Cherry Creek, Lincoln Creek, Fish Creek, Middle Loup
River, Turkey Creek, Davis Creek Reservoir Area, Clear Creek, Oak
Creek, Wallace Creek, Sand Creek, Spring Branch Creek, South Loup
River, Prairie Creek, Rusco Creek, Moores Creek, North Branch
Mira Creek, Box Elder Creek, Brown Creek, Munson Creek, Wiggle
Creek and South Branch Mira Creek.

Grand Island, Ravenna, Loup City, Cairo, Alda, Pleasanton,
Arcadia, Litchfield, Ashton, Farwell, Rockville, Hazard,
Cotesfield, Sherman Reservoir Dam, Boelus and Poole.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
