...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of central Illinois, including the following
counties, Logan and Menard.
* WHEN...Until 715 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 413 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain from
overnight thunderstorms brought between 2.5 and 4 inches of
rain, potentially leading to flooding in low-lying and poor
drainage areas.
- Heavy rain has ended, but ponding of water in low-lying and
poor drainage areas could still be a threat.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lincoln, Greenview, Elkhart, Middletown, Broadwell and
Sweetwater.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
