...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, including the following 
  counties, Clay and Greene and Southeast Missouri, including the 
  following county, Dunklin.

* WHEN...Until 1015 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is 
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 714 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Malden, Piggott, Corning, Campbell, Rector, Marmaduke, Chalk
    Bluff Natural Area, Clarkton, Oak Grove Heights, Holcomb,
    Lafe, Knobel, St. Francis, Pollard, Greenway, McDougal,
    Success, Peach Orchard, Delaplaine and Datto.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rapid onset flooding will result in quick water rises across the 
affected area. Seek higher ground now.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

of East Arkansas, including the following areas, Clay and Greene and 
Southeast Missouri, including the following area, Dunklin.
