* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall are expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Kentucky, including the following
county, Martin.
* WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding of small creeks
and streams, roads, and roadside culverts.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Inez, Warfield, Debord, Pevier, Delong, Preece, Bradbury,
Davella, Prince, Tomahawk, Davisport, Stidham, Andy, Wells,
Add, Milo, Lovely, Job, Calf Creek and Beauty.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
