...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Utah, including the following 
  county, Grand.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 251 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
  - Washes and drainages near Arches National Park and areas near
    Highway 313...are the most likely place to experience minor
    flooding.
    Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.6 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.

    Arches National Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain. 
Arroyos, streams, and rivers can become raging currents in a matter 
of minutes, even from distant rainfall.
