148 PM CDT Sat Jun 20 2026
...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Stone County in southeastern Mississippi...
* WHEN...Until 345 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
River or stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 148 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms quickly developing over Stone County and some
locations have already received in excess of an inch of rain. An
additional 1 to 2 inches is possible before the storms move east
of the county. Given the extensive flooding that has occurred
across the county, this additional rainfall is likely to produce
at least additional minor flooding in areas. If the storms dont
move east as quickly as expected, a Flash Flood Warning may
become necessary.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wiggins, Perkinston, McHenry, Ten Mile, Big Level, Perry, Whites
Crossing, Bond, Texas and Ramsey Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

deaths occur in vehicles.
