...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following 
  counties, southeastern Adams and eastern Arapahoe.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 648 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.

    - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Deer Trail and Leader.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following 
  counties, southeastern Adams and eastern Arapahoe.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 726 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.

    - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are expected
    over the southeastern part of the advisory area. Rain is
    decreasing west to east across the area.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Deer Trail and Leader.
