* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...North Central Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 815 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 615 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms in the Bowie area. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and
1.5 inches of rain have fallen with an automated rain gauge
recording 1.43 inches just north of Bowie.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Happy Camp Wash and San Simon River.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bowie.
- This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 362 and 376.

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

The Flood Advisory will expire at 815 PM MST this evening for a
portion of Southeast Arizona, including the following area, Bowie in
Cochise County.
The heavy rain has ended. Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MST for a portion of
Southeast Arizona...
