...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the 
  following county, Charleston.

* WHEN...Until 300 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 140 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with
    heavy rain over James Island and Johns Island. As much as 1.5
    inches of rain has fallen in some areas. An additional 1 to 2
    inches could fall through 3 PM, resulting in minor flooding
    of low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    James Island, Johns Island, Folly Beach, James Island County
    Park, Maybank Bridge, Stono, Charleston Executive Airport,
    Battery Point and Secessionville.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
