...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Missouri, 
  including the following counties, in north central Missouri, 
  Daviess, Grundy, Harrison and Mercer. In northwest Missouri, 
  Gentry and Worth.

* WHEN...Until 500 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 302 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected. Between 1 and 2
    inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall is expected
    over the next couple hours.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Bethany, Albany, Stanberry, Princeton, King City, Grant City,
    Ridgeway, Gilman City, Pattonsburg, Mercer, Eagleville, New
    Hampton, Cainsville, Spickard, Blythedale, Coffey,
    Darlington, Mcfall, Mount Moriah and Tindall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
