...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, including the following 
  counties, De Kalb, Lagrange, Noble and Steuben, southwest 
  Michigan, including the following counties, Branch and Hillsdale, 
  and northwest Ohio, including the following county, Williams.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 654 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Kendallville, Angola, Lagrange, Fremont, Hamilton, Rome City,
    Columbia, Ray, Cambria, Kinderhook, California, Wolcottville,
    Ashley, Hudson, Camden, Orland, Montgomery, Clear Lake,
    Corunna and York.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flood Advisory is expiring for portions of northern Indiana, 
including the following areas, De Kalb, Lagrange, Noble and Steuben, 
southwest Michigan, including the following areas, Branch and 
Hillsdale, and northwest Ohio, including the following area, 
Williams.

The heavy rain has ended. However, we are watching for additional 
chances for thunderstorms to form to our west and enter overnight.
