...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Ohio, including the following 
  counties, Cuyahoga and Medina.

* WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is 
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 703 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already
    caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cleveland, Medina, Parma, Lakewood, Strongsville, Brunswick,
    Westlake, North Royalton, Wadsworth, Rittman, Lodi, Creston,
    Chippewa Lake, North Olmsted, Parma Heights, Rocky River,
    Broadview Heights, Brook Park, Berea and Fairview Park.

  - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety
    and preparedness information.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

including the following areas, Cuyahoga and Medina.

Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no 
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining 
road closures.
