...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Washington County in north central Kansas...
  Western Marshall County in northeastern Kansas...

* WHEN...Until 845 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 544 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This  will cause urban and small stream flooding.
    Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
    area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Marysville, Blue Rapids, Hanover, Waterville, Barnes, Oketo and
    Bremen.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

portions of north central and northeast Kansas, including the
following areas, in north central Kansas, Washington. In northeast
Kansas, Marshall.

The heavy rain has ended. Urban area and small stream flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures.
