* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northwestern Aiken County in central South Carolina...
  Southeastern Edgefield County in central South Carolina...
  Western Lexington County in central South Carolina...
  Southern Newberry County in central South Carolina...
  Southeastern Saluda County in central South Carolina...

* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 404 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Aiken, North Augusta, Batesburg-Leesville, Clearwater, Belvedere,
    Ridge Spring, Aiken Municipal Airport, Edgefield County Airport,
    USC Aiken, Graniteville, Gloverville, Dreher Island State Park,
    Burnettown, Gilbert, Summit, Monetta, Trenton, Ward and Hibernia.
  - This includes the following highways...
    Interstate 520 in South Carolina between mile markers 16 and 23.
    Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 4 and 49.

Carolina, including the following areas, Aiken, Edgefield, Lexington,
