* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southeastern Clay County in west central Missouri...
Lafayette County in west central Missouri...
Southern Ray County in west central Missouri...
* WHEN...Until 630 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 325 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Excelsior Springs, Richmond, Odessa, Higginsville, Lexington,
Concordia, Waverly, Orrick, Wellington, Hardin, Corder, Alma,
Henrietta, Crystal Lakes, Mayview, Woods Heights and Lake
Lafayette.
