...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of the Panhandle of Oklahoma, including the
following county, Texas and the Panhandle of Texas, including the
following counties, Hansford and Hutchinson.
* WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1153 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Spearman and Gruver.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The Flood Advisory is cancelled for portions of the Panhandle of
Oklahoma, including the following area, Texas and the Panhandle of
Texas, including the following areas, Hansford and Hutchinson.
The threat for widespread flooding has increased over the area.
Therefore the Flood Advisory has been replaced by a Flood Warning.
